Privacy, in plain words

What we store. The business account (name, email, password hash), the clients a business adds (name, optional contact details, the fields the business fills in), the videos and photos it uploads, and the guides it builds from them.

Who can see a guide. Anyone who has its private link or QR code. Links are long random strings that cannot be guessed or listed. Guides are marked not to be indexed by search engines. Media is stored privately and served through short-lived signed links.

What we measure. When a guide or a step inside it is opened, and whether it came from a QR scan. We store a daily-rotating hash instead of IP addresses. No advertising trackers.

Deletion. A business can delete any client or guide at any time; the videos go with it. To delete a whole account, email contact@shabsand.com. If you are a client and want your guide removed, ask the business that made it, or email us and we will contact them.

Where. Application on Vercel, database on Railway, media on Vercel Blob, all in the United States.
